JAGO - Player Stats
A 7 Days to Die mod by AMG5TAG. Version 1.0.0 for game version 3.4; installs on the server and client. Category: Gameplay.
Start with 200 Health and 200 Stamina, grow them further with three new General perks (Fitness, Metabolism, Stamina), and level up to 500 instead of 300.
Description
In vanilla you start with 100 Health and 100 Stamina, and there are few ways to raise those caps. JAGO - Player Stats doubles both from the start and adds three General perks to grow them further as you level.
Early fights are more forgiving and long sprints less punishing. Better Fitness adds up to +100 max Health and Stamina, Better Metabolism adds up to +50 max Food and Water, and Better Stamina makes you up to 10% faster on your feet. All three are gated by player level, so the extra power arrives at a steady pace. To balance the extra survivability, the Intellect Mastery "Bookworm" bonus drops from 25% to 10%. The level cap rises to 500 for long-running servers. Everything lives in the General perk tab and uses vanilla stats, with no new UI.
Features
- Base max Health 100 to 200, and base max Stamina 100 to 200, for both body types.
- Better Fitness (General perk, 5 ranks, 1 point each): max Health and max Stamina +10 / +25 / +45 / +70 / +100 in total. Needs player level 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25.
- Better Metabolism (General perk, 5 ranks, 2 points each): max Food and max Water +10 per rank, +50 at rank 5. Needs player level 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25.
- Better Stamina (General perk, 5 ranks, 1 point each): walk and run speed +2% per rank, +10% at rank 5. Needs player level 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25.
- Speed buffs from Steroids, the biome smoothies (both their run-speed buff and their biome protection buff) and Bar Brawling 6 "Rage Mode" raised from +10% to +12%.
- Intellect Mastery "Bookworm" extra book, magazine and schematic chance lowered from 25% to 10%, with the description updated in all 13 game languages.
- Player level cap raised from 300 to 500. XP per level is unchanged (every level past 60 costs the same as vanilla), and skill points still follow your server's Skill Gain Amount.
- The death XP penalty now continues until level 500 instead of stopping at 300.
- English, German and Spanish perk text.
Compatibility
- Changes the player's base values rather than saved data, so existing characters should pick the changes up (not confirmed on an old save).
- Conflicts with other mods that set the player's base max Health or Stamina, change the Bookworm chance or change the level cap. Load order decides which one wins.
- The new perks sit in the General perk tab alongside any other modded General perks.
- Gamestage and loot stage keep rising with level past 300. The vanilla per-level Health, Stamina, Food and Water bonus still stops at level 100.
Requirements
- XML only, no DLL, so it works with EasyAntiCheat on.
- No Gears or other mods needed. Each JAGO mod is independent and works standalone.
- Install on the server and on every client (the perk text is shown on the client).
- Unzip into your Mods folder and keep the folder name as shipped (ZZ-AMG5TAG-JAGO-PlayerStats): the ZZ- prefix sets the load order.
Installation
Step 1: Install JAGO - Player Stats on the server and on every player's game, all on the same version. In single player, install it on your own game.
Step 2: Download the zip and unzip it into the game's Mods folder, so you end up with Mods/ZZ-AMG5TAG-JAGO-PlayerStats/ModInfo.xml. For the game that is the Mods folder in the install folder (in Steam: right-click 7 Days to Die > Manage > Browse local files; create Mods if it isn't there). For a dedicated server it is the Mods folder next to the server executable.
Step 3: Keep the folder name ZZ-AMG5TAG-JAGO-PlayerStats exactly as it is: the ZZ- prefix sets the load order. Don't put it inside another folder.
Step 4: XML only, no DLL: it works with EasyAntiCheat on.
Step 5: Start (or restart) the server and the game. To update, delete the old folder and unzip the new version the same way on the server and every player's game at the same time.
