JAGO - Completionist
A 7 Days to Die mod by AMG5TAG. Version 1.0.0 for game version 3.4; installs on the server and client. Category: Gameplay.
Cleared POIs are remembered on your map with per-biome progress, traders stop offering finished places, plus a trader quest map, exclusive quests, fog-of-war sharing and a web map.
Description
Ever stood outside a POI wondering whether you already cleared it last week? Completionist remembers for you. Clear every sleeper in a POI and it is permanently marked as done on your map. POIs you have found but not finished show in their tier colour, using the same palette as item quality, so a tier 5 reads like an Epic weapon at a glance.
The map screen gets a progress panel showing how many POIs you have cleared per tier, for the biome you are standing in and for the whole world. Traders stop offering quests for places you have already finished, at any tier and of any quest type, and that is based on the mod's own records, so it holds even after sleepers respawn.
Talk to a trader about jobs and a map opens beside the job list. It shows every quest on offer, coloured by tier and sorted nearest first, and you can filter tiers and accept straight from the map. Traders offer more quests per tier, and you can pay to reroll a trader's job list. On multiplayer servers, trader quests are exclusive: once one player accepts a POI quest, nobody else is offered it until it is finished, failed or abandoned.
Playing with friends? Explored map areas are shared in real time between party members (and, if you like, mutual allies). Only ground a teammate has actually seen gets shared, so nothing is spoiled through the fog. Server admins also get layers on the server's web dashboard map.
Features
- Clear detection: a POI counts as cleared the moment its last sleeper area is cleared, with no polling. POIs are also checked when you walk into them, which picks up places cleared before the mod was installed.
- Permanent server record of every cleared POI, saved in the save folder. Clears count for every player, including ones who were offline or join later.
- Map markers: cleared POIs in green, unfinished POIs in their tier colour, only on ground you have explored. Choose outlines on the POI's real footprint, skull icons scaled by tier, or both. Tier 0 filler (wrecks, trailers) can be shown, counted but hidden, or left out.
- Progress panel on the map screen with Biome, World and View tabs.
- Chat announcement when a POI is cleared.
- Trader quest map: choosing jobs at a trader shows a map and quest panel instead of the plain list. Tier-coloured markers sit in the middle of each POI, with tier filters, a list with names and distances, and accept from the panel.
- Nearest first: the trader quest map, the vanilla job list and your quest journal are sorted by distance.
- No auto-tracking: new quests are not tracked on their own, so the quest you are following stays tracked.
- Cleared places stay off the job board: traders never offer a cleared POI, whether at a higher tier (infested quests use a POI one tier lower) or as another quest type such as fetch or restore power. Lists already on offer are checked too.
- More trader quests: 15 per tier by default instead of vanilla's 7.
- Quest reroll: a trader dialog option, "Show me different jobs (250 Dukes)", swaps that trader's job list for a new one. Up to 3 per trader per in-game day, and you are never charged if no new jobs can be found.
- Exclusive trader quests (multiplayer): once a player accepts a POI quest, nobody else is offered it, can accept it or can start it until the holder completes, fails or abandons it. Quests shared with the holder's party still work. A claim expires after 72 hours (default) while the holder is offline.
- Quest announcements: party members and allies see in chat when someone accepts a trader quest, with the POI name and coordinates.
- Fog-of-war sharing: explored map chunks are shared between party members, or party and mutual allies, every 2.5 seconds within 5 chunks of each player. By default only ground the sender has actually explored is shared.
- Web dashboard map (server): layers for cleared POIs, uncleared POIs (only where the ground has been generated), claimed trader quests, and, when those mods are installed, JAGO - Zombies infestation zones and JAGO - Animals guard dogs and kennels. Each layer can be switched on and off, and hovering shows details. A box shows cleared/total per tier.
- Console commands: tcwhere (POI status where you stand), tcprogress, and for admins tcmark, tcunmark and tcserverreset confirm (wipes all clear records).
- Rare item quality colour changes from green to cyan, so green only ever means "cleared" (delete Config/qualityinfo.xml to keep vanilla colours).
- English, German and Spanish text.

Compatibility
- Do not install alongside WMMTraderQuestMap. The trader quest map is built in, and both replace the trader dialog.
- Fog-of-war sharing is likely to conflict with PartyScout or Fog of War Plus installed separately.
- Other mods that change the trader dialog, the map screen's waypoint and invites windows, or how traders pick quest POIs may conflict.
- Sleeper respawn follows the vanilla loot respawn setting. The mod never changes spawning or loot, and cleared records stay even if sleepers respawn.
- With IncludeTier0 and AnnounceClears both on, cleared car wrecks are announced too, which makes for a lot of chat.
- The web map layers coexist with TFP's Xample_MarkersMod. Anyone with web map access can see kennel and dog locations, which hint at where bases are.
Credits
- Anthony Maltha: fog-of-war sharing is based on PartyScout (later Fog of War Plus).
- w00kie n00kie: the trader quest map is rebuilt from WMMTraderQuestMap and ported to 7 Days to Die 3.3.
Requirements
- Includes a DLL, so EasyAntiCheat must be off.
- Requires Gears (Mod Settings Manager) on the server and every client. The DLL does not load without it.
- Install on the server and on every client, with the same version everywhere (it adds network messages).
- Unzip into your Mods folder and keep the folder name as shipped (ZZ-AMG5TAG-JAGO-Completionist): the ZZ- prefix sets the load order.
- Each JAGO mod is independent and works standalone. The web map's zone, dog and kennel layers simply stay empty without JAGO - Zombies and JAGO - Animals.
- Web map (optional, server only): needs WebDashboardEnabled and EnableMapRendering in serverconfig.xml. For non-admin players, run "webpermission add web.map global 1000" and "webpermission add webapi.Completionist GET 1000". Players make a dashboard login with createwebuser in the in-game console.
Installation
Step 1: Install JAGO - Completionist on the server and on every player's game, all on the same version. In single player, install it on your own game.
Step 2: Download the zip and unzip it into the game's Mods folder, so you end up with Mods/ZZ-AMG5TAG-JAGO-Completionist/ModInfo.xml. For the game that is the Mods folder in the install folder (in Steam: right-click 7 Days to Die > Manage > Browse local files; create Mods if it isn't there). For a dedicated server it is the Mods folder next to the server executable.
Step 3: Keep the folder name ZZ-AMG5TAG-JAGO-Completionist exactly as it is: the ZZ- prefix sets the load order. Don't put it inside another folder.
Step 4: This mod contains a DLL, so EasyAntiCheat must be off: start the game without EAC (untick EasyAntiCheat in the launcher), and on a dedicated server set EACEnabled to false in serverconfig.xml.
Step 5: Install Gears (Mod Settings Manager) as well, on the server and every player's game. This mod doesn't work without it.
Step 6: Optional web map (dedicated server): set WebDashboardEnabled and EnableMapRendering to true in serverconfig.xml. For players who aren't admins, run "webpermission add web.map global 1000" and "webpermission add webapi.Completionist GET 1000" in the server console. Each player makes a dashboard login with createwebuser in the in-game console.
Step 7: Start (or restart) the server and the game. To update, delete the old folder and unzip the new version the same way on the server and every player's game at the same time.
Changelog
JAGO - Completionist: changelog
===============================
1.0.0 (27 Oct 2026)
- First public release.
Development history
-------------------
Before its public release this mod was developed and run privately, with its own version numbers (the last was 3.11.0). Those notes are kept below for reference; none of those versions were released to the public.
3.11.0 (26 Oct 2026)
- Web dashboard map: three new layers you can switch on and off. "Infestation zones" (from JAGO - Zombies) shows each zone's area, level and kills so far. "Dog kennels" and "Guard dogs" (from JAGO - Animals) show each kennel and each loaded guard dog with its name and owner.
- The new layers read the save files those mods already write, so Completionist still works on its own. A layer is simply empty when its mod isn't installed.
- Note for server admins: anyone who can see the web map can now see where every kennel and dog is, which shows roughly where players' bases are.
3.10.2 (26 Oct 2026)
- Fix: exclusive trader quests. A party member holding a shared copy of someone else's quest could again be offered, and accept, the same job as their own. The earlier fix for this was not switched on.
- Fix: cleared POIs could still turn up in new offers and quest rerolls through a second way the game picks quest locations.
- Fix: accepting a job while another offer in the same list pointed at a newly cleared POI could remove the wrong offer and leave the accepted job on the list.
- Fix: accepting a quest just as a trader's daily list expired skipped the claim and the chat announcement, so the slower of two players racing for a POI could keep the quest.
- Fix: the clear records, trader claims and reroll files are now saved in one safe step. A crash or forced stop during a save could lose the whole file before.
- Fix: a claim holder's "last seen" time is now saved about every 10 minutes. After a crash, active players' claims could be released early because only a clean shutdown saved it.
- Fix: in single player or on a listen host, loading a second save no longer filters trader offers using the first world's POIs.
- Traders build quest lists with a little less work when nothing has been cleared yet.
3.10.1 (26 Oct 2026)
- Traders no longer offer a completed POI in any form: not as a higher-tier quest, and not as another quest type such as fetch or restore power. For example, an infested quest uses a POI one tier below its own, so a cleared tier 1 POI could come back as a tier 2 infested job. That no longer happens.
- Offer lists a trader has already made are now checked every time they are shown, so a POI cleared after the list was made drops off it.
- "Completed" means every sleeper area in the POI is cleared, the same rule as the map markers. Grabbing a fetch satchel and leaving doesn't count.
- Uses the existing "Hide cleared from traders" setting (on by default).
3.10.0 (16 Oct 2026)
- New quests are no longer tracked automatically: not when accepted from a trader or the quest map, not when shared by your party, and not when a quest chain moves to its next step. Tracking a quest yourself from the journal, and the tracking when you activate a quest at its POI, work as before.
3.9.0 (16 Oct 2026)
- Quest lists are sorted nearest first: the trader quest map list (within the selected tier), the vanilla trader job list (within each tier) and the quest journal (active quests nearest first, then active quests with no location, then finished quests).
- Distance is the straight-line map distance from where you stand. The order is set when the list opens and doesn't reshuffle as you walk.
